Download and install LuraVPN
Where to download LuraVPN, how to allow the VPN on a Mac, and which systems the desktop app supports.

The Download page lists the LuraVPN apps for each kind of device. When you’re signed in, Downloads in your dashboard has the same links, including the desktop installers.
Install on a computer
- Open Downloads in your dashboard and choose Windows or macOS.
- Use the direct installer, or get the app from your computer’s app store.
- Open LuraVPN and sign in, or create an account from the sign-in screen.
Allow the VPN on a Mac
The first time you use LuraVPN on a Mac, macOS asks you to allow its network extension and to add a VPN configuration. The connect button stays unavailable until both are allowed.
- Select Set up VPN in the app and follow the macOS permission prompt.
- If the prompt doesn’t appear, select Open System Settings, go to General › Login Items & Extensions › Network Extensions and turn on LuraVPN.
- When macOS asks to add a VPN configuration, choose Allow.
- Return to LuraVPN and select Check again. If setup still isn’t detected, restart your Mac and reopen LuraVPN.
System requirements
- Mac: macOS 13 or later.
- Windows: 64-bit Windows 10 (version 22H2) or Windows 11.
