Set up and use Digital Identity
Add Digital Identity, create your identity in a region, connect with it and change its region.

Set up your identity
- In the desktop app, open Preferences › Account › Digital Identity and select Open identity.
- If you haven’t added it yet, select Add Digital Identity, confirm your billing country, choose your identity and billing period, and review the price. Checkout opens in your browser; afterwards, return to LuraVPN and check your payment.
- Select Continue setup and tell us how you’ll use the identity, how many devices you expect to use and your optimization goal.
- Choose a region, review your identity and select Create identity.
Creating the identity takes a short while and carries on even if you close the sheet. Closing it doesn’t create a second request.
Connect with your identity
- Select Use this identity.
- Select the power button to connect.
- Wait for Verifying identity to change to Identity protected.
While connected, the identity’s checks show Assigned IP match, System DNS path, IPv4 tunnel, IPv6 protection and Traffic guard.
Change the region
Select Change region to move your identity. Because the identity is shared, this can affect your other devices: this computer disconnects first, and your assigned IP address may change.
If something isn’t right
- Setup needs attention: select Retry setup.
- Your payment is still being confirmed: check access again in a few minutes.
- Traffic protection could not be confirmed: disconnect and connect again. If it continues, ask LuraBot or send a support request with the topic Digital Identity.
